Junior Varsity Volleyball Head Coach

Under the direction of the director of athletics, the head JV Volleyball coach oversees the skill development, planning and scheduling of the team throughout the season. Candidates must commit to proper sportsmanship and respect for players, officials, opponents, fans and other coaches. Candidates should have knowledge and experience within the sport and understand how to teach, mentor and motivate student-athletes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct practices five days per week, generally weekdays from 4pm - 6 p.m.
• Attend and coach all games, generally weekdays between 4 - 6 p.m.
• Attend special events such as the Trinity Hall Open House and Fall Sports Awards Ceremony.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Strong volleyball coaching experience with high school aged student-athletes.
• Experience working in a school setting and coaching female athletes is preferred.
• Collegiate-level playing experience in this sport is highly desirable with high school-level playing experience expected as a minimum requirement.
• Ability to attend all team practices, meetings, and games August through mid-November.
