JV Girls Head Lacrosse Coach

Loomis Chaffee School is seeking an experienced coach for the position of Head JV Girls Lacrosse Coach. The season begins upon returning from Spring break – March 25th – May 17th. Practices are Monday through Friday 4:00-5:30. Game days may vary but are primarily played on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as an inspirational leader and role model.
• Promote values of leadership and sportsmanship.
• Plan impactful practices, executing effective coaching techniques and strategies during practices and games.
• Ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
• Ability to attend all team practices, games, and events.
• Work closely with the Athletic Department Offices and staffing and Girls Lacrosse Coaches throughout the season.
• Understand and follow policies and expectations of Athletic Dept and Athletic Training Staff.
• Submit game results to Athletic Office and SID.

Qualifications:

• Coaching experience with a school or club program is preferred.
• College and/or high school playing experience.
• CPR and First Aid certified or ability to obtain.
