JV Girls Soccer Head Coach

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work with the Varsity Head Coach to implement a comprehensive girls soccer program.
• Work collaboratively with assistant coaches, parents, boosters and youth organizations.
• Provide leadership while teaching and modeling good sportsmanship.
• Provide appropriate supervision and management of team during practices and games.
• Use current best practices to teach and develop soccer skills, maintaining athlete safety.
• Consistently report game results to the Athletic Director and appropriate media outlets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Prior high school coaching experience preferred.
• Current CPR/AED certification or able to obtain.
• Current Sports First Aid certification or able to obtain.
• Maine Dept. of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) Authorization, or ability to obtain.
