JV Softball Coach

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Successful softball coaching experience.
• Experience as a softball athlete.
• Knowledge of sound and acceptable coaching techniques, specific to softball.
• Ability to help organize and supervise a total team sport, in cooperation with the Varsity Head Coach.
• Ability to develop a good rapport with a wide variety of individuals and groups.
• Evidence of strong leadership ability.
• Evidence of ability to motivate and teach, with a philosophy of coaching that is compatible with an interscholastic athletic program.
• Willingness to work on training programs, in season and out of season.
• Ability and willingness to follow our student and coach’s code of conduct.
• Regular, reliable and punctual attendance is required.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Chaperone spring trip.
• Coach during summer softball.
• Participate in fundraising activities.
