Lower School Physical Education Teacher

The Awty International School has an immediate opening for a Teacher of Physical Education and Athletic Coach. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be expected to teach Lower School Physical Education during the day as well as coach a minimum of two athletic seasons.

Required Qualifications:

• BA or equivalent in Education, Physical Education (or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years full-time teaching or coaching experience
• Experience in a school environment or athletic related field.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated techological proficiency (Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite).
• Ability to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual in English and one of the school’s primary languages, French or Spanish.
• Head coaching experience
• Master degree in Education, Physical Education (or related field).
• Certification in elementary physical education and/or related subject area.
