Men’s Club Soccer Head Coach

The Club Soccer Head Coach is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the Calvin University Men's Club Soccer program. This includes recruiting, coaching, and developing student-athletes, as well as managing all aspects of the program, including scheduling, travel, and fundraising. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for soccer and a proven track record of success in coaching.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the Calvin University Men's Club Soccer program, including recruiting, coaching, and developing student-athletes.
• Schedule and manage all team practices and games.
• Travel with the team to away games and tournaments.
• Raise funds to support the program.
• Represent the program at community events and functions.
• Maintain a positive and supportive team environment.
• Promote the Calvin University mission and values.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience coaching soccer at the collegiate or club level.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for soccer and a commitment to student-athlete development.
