Description
James Madison University, a Division I Member of the NCAA and Sunbelt Conference, is seeking a Men’s Golf Assistant Coach. This position is a full-time, 12-month position with a full comprehensive benefits package. The anticipated start date is upon first availability.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree.
- A qualified candidate will possess the skills in teaching course management to student-athletes and helping them on course in tournaments.
- The successful candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills and will possess initiative and leadership.
- The ability to guide and support James Madison University student-athletes in their quest for excellence-academically, athletically and socially as they prepare for productive and meaningful lives.
- The ability to establish a good rapport and effective working relationships with student-athletes, parents, administrators, faculty, staff and the community.
