Middle School Golf Coach

Charlotte Preparatory School, an independent coeducational day school in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Middle School Golf Coach for the Spring 2025 season. This is a part-time, seasonal position coaching students in grades 5-8. The season runs from late February through early May, with practices and competitions typically scheduled Monday through Thursday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide supervision, instruction, and mentorship to student-athletes during all team activities.
• Oversee the maintenance and inventory of team equipment and apparel.
• Maintain regular communication with parents and athletic staff regarding team schedules, updates, and expectations.
• Attend team meetings and required athletics program events.
• Encourage multi-sport participation among student-athletes.
• Support student-athletes in achieving a balanced approach to academics, athletics, and personal growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability for all practices and competitions throughout the season.
• Coaching experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check.
• Possession of or ability to obtain current First Aid and CPR certification before the start of the season.
