Non-Certified Ice Hockey Official

The Town of Breckenridge Recreation Department is seeking a dedicated and customer service oriented individual for the position of Non-Certified Ice Hockey Official. This position is responsible for assisting in the creation & implementation of various programs and services to guests of the Recreation Department. Primary responsibilities include the design, development and/or creation of programs or services, and instruction of skills related to the various programs or services.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess excellent ice skating skills.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge of USA Hockey rules via work history and/or playing experience.
• Must have one (1) or more years of customer service experience.
• Must be able to handle stressful situations in a tactful, professional manner while communicating effectively and courteously.
• To qualify for this position, the candidate or employee must pass a criminal background check.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• One (1) or more years of ice hockey officiating experience.
• One (1) or more years of customer service experience involving youth/adult hockey programs.
• One (1) or more years experience playing hockey at the high school or club level.
