Outpatient Physical Therapist- Clinical Coordinator

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Coordinates, updates, and revises the clinical education program.
• Providing competency assessments and educational/training sessions for staff as well as establishing best practice protocols.
• Having a working knowledge of all aspects of procedures for their specific discipline, as well as policies related to reimbursement.
• Serving on committees for program planning.
• Providing care for a designated group of patients, including evaluations, modalities, and treatments.
• Responsible for the care of patients treated by therapist assistants, technicians, students, and observers.
• Responsible for orientation and ongoing guidance of assigned staff.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree minimum for Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapist. Master's degree minimum for Speech Language Pathologists from a recognized college or university.
• Two years of previous healthcare experience preferred in a hospital setting.
• Current licensure in the State of Georgia in applicable field of study. BLS certified through AHA.
