Physical Education Instructor

Saint Joseph School, a vibrant Catholic school community, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Physical Education Instructor to teach students ranging from 3-year-olds to Grade 8. The ideal candidate will be passionate about physical fitness, child development, and promoting a healthy lifestyle, while also being committed to the values and mission of Catholic education.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and document students' physical abilities, skills, and progress throughout the year.
• Provide regular feedback to students, parents, and administration regarding students' achievements and areas for improvement.
• Maintain a positive, respectful, and safe learning environment in the gymnasium, playground, or other designated areas.
• Implement appropriate behavior management strategies to ensure students are engaged and cooperative during activities.
• Collaborate with other faculty members, particularly homeroom teachers, to integrate physical education with other areas of the curriculum.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their childs progress, upcoming events, and any relevant concerns.
