Physical Education Teacher

Prospect High School seeks individuals with a strong academic background and the desire to help all students maximize learning and promote personal development in a cooperative, supportive, and respectful environment. Viable candidates must be willing to work collaboratively in job-a-like groups and be willing to support Prospect's co-curricular program.

Qualifications:

• Health and Drivers Ed.
• Willingness to work cooperatively with other teachers in the physical education to develop new course work and to support existing programs within Prospect High School and District 214.
• Ability to teach courses at various academic levels.
• Must have excellent teaching skills with the ability to work in a variety of learning environments.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to support building co-curricular activities.
• Commitment to working with an interdisciplinary or integrated team: designing, implementing, and refining curriculum.
• Proficiency in the use of instructional and multimedia technologies.
• Candidate should be an active member in professional organizations related to physical education.
