Physical Education Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrates culturally responsive understandings in planning and execution of lessons to ensure a positive learning environment that is safe and accessible to all students.
• Employs various instructional strategies in order to engage students with various learning styles, needs and abilities.
• Possess the ability to get all students excited and curious about exercising and is always seeking new ways to teach students healthy routines and practices that support physical growth.
• Deeply understands the connection between physical, emotional, and academic health and integrates social-emotional strategies regularly.
• Is a skillful communicator that is collaborative and a team player.
• Has a willingness to coach extracurricular sports.
