Physical Education Teacher – Elementary School

Liberty Grove Schools is seeking a committed educator to provide instruction and activities as a Physical Education teacher for grades K thru 6th. Instruction will guide and engage students to develop healthy fitness habits and exposure to various sports through Physical Education classes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Ensuring that students compete to their ability level and aren’t exposed to unnecessary injury or illness through school sports.
• Motivating school children to take up new sports or athletic pursuits.
• Evaluating the performance of students throughout the school year.
• Ensuring that students fulfill their practical PE requirements.
• Training and coaching Liberty Grove Schools sports teams to compete and succeed in the city-wide athletic league.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Demonstrated competency and background in Physical Education.
