Description
Principal Accountabilities:
- Provides and prescribes plans of care consisting of corrective therapeutic exercise.
- Performs manual treatments consisting of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and many more.
- Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintain proper documentation.
- Evaluates and establishes a plan of care and treats patients accordingly.
- Documents patient care and charges appropriately, and documents the course of patient care, including progress made and the ongoing need for treatment.
- Works with other professionals in an effective manner
- Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions.
- Evaluates patient response to treatment and provides feedback to the interdisciplinary team.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program, MS or doctorate.
- 1 year acute care or acute rehab experience strongly preferred.
