ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Promotes patient safety through adherence to policies, procedures, guidelines, Joint Commission standards, and state and Medicare regulations.

Demonstrates excellent clinical competency at all times according to departmental and program standards as well as the standards of each discipline.

Demonstrates patient case management by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care needs according to department guidelines in order to achieve quality outcomes.

Communicates and collaborates with patients, families, physicians, and others to provide coordination of care and customer service. Participates in IDC meetings live or via documentation input.

Demonstrates fiscal responsibility by controlling costs, and enhancing revenue.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Graduate of A.P.T.A. approved curriculum in physical therapy. Must have license for State of Pennsylvania.

Experience: Professional competency as a general practitioner of physical therapy. One or more years of experience preferred.

Other Skills: Sensitivity and insight to patient and staff needs. Ability to interrelate with various professional and non-professional staff. High professional ethics, personal integrity and responsibility to co-workers. Personal car and current drivers license.
