Description
What will I do?
- Performs and documents an initial exam, evaluating data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
- Plans prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
- Records prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in resident's/patient's chart or enters information into computer.
- Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
- Administers manual exercises, massage, or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, or decrease or prevent deformity or crippling.
- Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.
What do I need for this role?
- Bachelor's Degree and/or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Current NYS License as a Physical Therapist.
- 2 years experience or more as a Physical Therapist.
