Physical Therapist

What will I do?

• Performs and documents an initial exam, evaluating data to identify problems and determine a diagnosis prior to intervention.
• Plans prepare and carry out individually designed programs of physical treatment to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning, alleviate pain, or prevent physical dysfunction in patients.
• Records prognosis, treatment, response, and progress in resident's/patient's chart or enters information into computer.
• Identifies and documents goals, anticipated progress, and plans for reevaluation.
• Administers manual exercises, massage, or traction to help relieve pain, increase patient strength, or decrease or prevent deformity or crippling.
• Evaluates effects of treatment at various stages and adjust treatments to achieve maximum benefit.

What do I need for this role?

• Bachelor's Degree and/or Masters Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Current NYS License as a Physical Therapist.
• 2 years experience or more as a Physical Therapist.
