Physical Therapist

This position is responsible for organizing, coordinating and implementing physical therapy services primarily to orthopedic patients and patients focused on pain management in the outpatient setting, and other patients as assigned by the Physical Therapy supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

• California Licensed Physical Therapist (PHYSTHER).
• APTA clinical educator certification or willingness to obtain CI within six (6) months from date of hire.
• Minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Several years’ experience as a Physical Therapist.
• Must have a specialty certification or willingness to obtain one within the first year from date of hire.
• Advanced knowledge of, and skill to apply, practices, principles and techniques of patient care related to physical therapy as identified by Physical Therapy Practice Act and licensure by State of California.
• Advanced ability to treat complex patients utilizing specialized knowledge, skills and ability in the assessment, treatment and management of patients with in their area of specialization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Board-certified specialty certification.
• Master’s Degree or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Experience in outpatient Orthopedics.
• Experience with Pain Management Programs.
