Physical Therapist

Responsibilities:

• Develops treatment plans, sets goals, re-assesses and adjusts as necessary.
• Adapts conventional physical therapy techniques to meet the needs of patients.
• Writes discharge summaries.
• Maintains accurate documentation.
• Communicates orally and in writing with physicians, nurses and other personnel and agencies concerned with patient care.
• Conducts or participates in training medical and nursing personnel in physical therapy techniques and objectives.
• Supervises PTA’S, students, and technicians performing patient care activities.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required, Master's Degree preferred.
• Must be certified as a Physical Therapist in the State of Texas.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Experience treating Pelvic Floor Dysfunction is a plus.
