Description
The Physical Therapist will work with patients, initially evaluating them and establishing a plan of care. The Physical Therapist should ensure patients are progressing and adapt the plan of care according to progress and other applicable conditions. These treatments should include utilization of techniques and equipment of rehabilitation, electrotherapy, hydrotherapy, manual therapy, ultrasound, traction, therapeutic exercises, massage, wound care interventions, and individualized application to the patient.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy School/Master’s Degree and/or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- Must be familiar with all up-to-date techniques and treatments covering the entire field of Physical Therapy (Internal medicine, orthopedics, rehabilitation, pediatrics, geriatrics).
- Licensure qualifies therapist to assess and treat the pediatric through the geriatric population with a focus toward National Patient Safety Goals.
- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy by the Arkansas State Board of Physical Therapy Association.
- Other education and experience may be substituted (if applicable) for the required minimum job qualifications with the approval of the Corporate Director of Human Resources.
