Description
Responsible for providing a broad range of physical therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in accordance with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. Ensures and provides development, quality improvement, problem-solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary manner.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Performs initial examinations and differential diagnosis.
- Provides and prescribes plans of care consisting of corrective therapeutic exercise.
- Performs manual treatments consisting of soft tissue techniques, joint mobilizations, and many more.
- Supervises and interacts with support staff and maintain proper documentation.
- Evaluates and establishes a plan of care and treats patients accordingly.
- Documents patient care and charges appropriately, and documents the course of patient care, including progress made and the ongoing need for treatment.
- Works with other professionals in an effective manner.
- Provides clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Licensed Physical therapist, State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety, Division of consumer Affairs, Board of Physical Therapy pursuant to N.J.S.A. and N.J.A.C.
- At least 3-5 years of documented professional experience with individuals from birth to five years of age with developmental delays and disabilities.
- Candidates must have a car, as services are provided in a child’s natural environment either home or childcare setting.
