UW Medicine Rehabilitation - Our multidisciplinary team is centered around compassion and innovation. We work closely with many types of specialists to give each patient the best possible path to recovery. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Schedule patients for evaluations and treatment; maintain full work schedule.
- Delegate patients to PT Assistants to maximize own efficiency and assist in the productivity of the PTA position.
- Educate, and be a resource to, residents training at the UWMC-Roosevelt site, in the area of physical therapy, and more particularly pelvic dysfunction.
- Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for assigned area of the Exercise Training Center.
- Use volunteers who may assist in their assigned area.
- Collaborate with the therapy departments at Eastside Specialty Center, UWMC-Pacific, and Sports Medicine Center to optimize patient care and staffing.
- Instructs, assigns work, and evaluates physical therapy students, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized school of physical therapy or completion of a Physical Therapy program AND at least two years of relevant experience as a Physical Therapist.
- Current Washington State license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
