Physical Therapist

Providing physical therapy services to Rutgers University intercollegiate athletic population, with primary responsibility to the football program, utilizing accepted methods of examination/evaluation, therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, physical agents and mechanical modalities, and other interventions, as needed to carry out rehabilitation protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an institution that is recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association s Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education.
• Certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.
• Physical Therapy Licensure in the State of New Jersey.
• Experience managing multiple tasks while working proficiently under pressure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with efficiency and effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in a collegiate or professional athletic performance setting, or equivalent.
• Dry Needling Certification, or eligible, via New Jersey State Board of Physical Therapy.
• Blood Flow Restriction Certification.
• Applicants who possess both Athletic Training and Physical Therapy credentials and experience are valued highly for this position.
