Reporting directly to the Clinical Manager and under the guidance of more senior program specific therapists the Physical Therapist completes comprehensive examinations to determine body structure and function level impairments activity limitation and participation restrictions. Establishes diagnosis prognosis and develops an individualized plan of care. Implements treatment interventions and performs on-going evaluations through-out episode of care.
Pursuant to the state of Rhode Island Rules and Regulations for Licensing Physical Therapists a licensed physical therapist shall at all times be responsible for the supervision of physical therapist assistants supportive personnel and students to ensure the safety and welfare of patients.
Communicates routinely with physical therapy assistants to monitor patient progress/status reassess needs and make changes to treatment plans
Must be fit for duty in accordance with OSHA standards and program specific needs.
