Minimum Education, Training, and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s Degree from an APTA accredited school of Physical Therapy. Must possess a current and valid Physical Therapy License in the state of Kentucky or be licensure eligible. Must have a valid driver’s license.
Strength – Position requires ability to occasionally lift objects less than 50 pounds.
Manual Dexterity – Position requires incumbent to constantly perform
Coordination – Position requires incumbent to frequently perform tasks which require hand-eye coordination such as.
Mobility – Position requires incumbent to constantly maintain a pace for long periods of time.
Visual Discrimination – Position requires incumbent to discriminate colors, as in reading colors of electrical wires or warning lights and see both near both far away.
Performs care requiring substantial specialized knowledge, judgement and nursing skills based upon the principles of psychological, biological, physical and social sciences in the application of the nursing process. Utilizes high-level assessment skills to design and ensure multidisciplinary patient care to meet holistic needs, incorporating established practice guidelines and regulatory standards. Must possess ability to supervise LPNs, CNAs, Techs, Unit Secretaries, and Clinical students. All employees will continually monitor and adhere to safety responsibilities and initiatives.
