Physical Therapist – Acute Therapy

The Physical Therapist in our acute therapy will assist in evaluating and treats patients in accordance with the prescription of the physician. Provides patient care consistent with Scope of Practice Standards and Code of Ethics. Provides care while maintaining safety of the environment, utilizing appropriate communication with sensitivity and attention to special populations, including patients with diverse cultural backgrounds, age, developmental issues and physical disabilities.

Education:

• Minimum: Bachelor's Degree; Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Preferred: Master's Degree: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Preferred: Doctorate Degree; Completion of formal physical therapy education and training from an accredited institution required for license.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Current physical therapist license issued by the licensing board of California.
• BLS by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
