Physical Therapist – Adult Outpatient Clinic

Duties:

• Oversee other clinical and support staff (Front Desk/Tech/PTA)
• Market services to target physicians and other referral sources (this may require additional time aside from the regular scheduled work week).
• Providing skilled physical therapy care to patients with impairments, functional limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function resulting from injury, disease, or other causes.
• Record daily clinical and progress notes. Ensure charting compliance as required by Medicare, Medicaid and universal guidelines.
• Coordinating other patient care activities/ services to provide the highest quality of patient care.
• Test, evaluate, and record muscle strength, joint measurements, so that objectives are determined., treatment plan developed and regularly reviewed.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in an outpatient setting. (Orthopedic experience preferred)
• New Grads are welcome to apply.
• Graduation with Doctor of Physical Therapy from an accredited Physical Therapist program. (Bachelor of Science, Master's Certificate, Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.)
• Physical Therapy licensure in the state of North Carolina.
• Evidence of ongoing continuing education in clinical areas.
