Providence is calling a Physical Therapist (Physical Therapy, Day Shift, 0.0 FTE) to Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana. Education to qualify for Physical Therapist licensure.
Licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Montana.
FIM required if working with patients in Inpatient Rehab.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) card must be from the following authorized governing bodies: American Heart Association (AHA) - (BLS Provider), American Red Cross (ARC) - (BLS for Health Care Provider), or Military Training Network (MTN) – (Healthcare Provider) upon hire.
In this position you will:
Continues to assess changes in patient/client status and modifies care plan appropriately to meet goals.
Develops objective goals and a plan of care.
Follows patient/client care through to completion, including identifying and planning for discharge needs and recommendations for further care.
Gathers pertinent information from the medical record and by interviewing patient/client and/or appropriate family members.
Implements the plan of care while assuring patient privacy, safety, and comfort.
Reports change of status information to the nurse and/or physician.
Teaches appropriate and safe therapeutic/rehabilitation information for improving patient outcomes.
Uses appropriate assessment tools in order to determine the appropriate level of care for patients/clients.
