Premier Lacrosse League Summer Camp Coach

The St. James is the premier sports, wellness and active entertainment platform focused developmental and competitive programs, teams and opportunities in more than 20 sports, and a wide range of premium fitness, wellness and entertainment experiences.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coach and guide a team of campers through our PLL Lacrosse curriculum and help fuel camper’s lacrosse development.
• Build team comradery to ensure a safe and fun camp environment for all campers by adhering to safety protocols.
• Serve as a brand ambassador for the Premier Lacrosse League and The St. James by acting respectfully and professionally when engaging with campers, families, teammates and facility partners.
• Be a good teammate who shows up on time and steps outside of day-to-day responsibilities when requested by Leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of high-school, college, professional lacrosse playing / coaching experience.
• 2+ years of experience working with children in a camp, school or sport environment.
• Passionate about using lacrosse as a vehicle to foster a positive environment for youth athletes.
• Able to remain active outdoors for multiple hours at a time, to walk and/or run quickly around grass / turf fields.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of lacrosse equipment.
