Candidate must be highly organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize work. He/she must be detail oriented and able to produce work with a high degree of accuracy. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Candidate must interact effectively in a professional manner with students, staff, parents and the public and be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Excellent computer skills needed, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerSchool, as well as building and student-management systems and ISTAR database.
SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY INCLUDE:
Handles confidential materials.
Able to independently determine priority of office tasks
Prepares school budget, office accounts, purchases/payments, mailings, records and assists in the preparation other reports.
Serves as the coaches’ liaison for distributing all information related to their team’s rosters, transportation, academic reports, awards for the SWSC, IHSA and individual seasonal team/player awards.
Serves as the primary contact for student-athlete 8 to18 registration.
Coordinates local team transportation.
Manages purchase orders for teams and affiliated programs.
Processes the IHSA paperwork for transfer students.
Assists in managing weekly academic eligibility reports.
Coordinates drug testing program.
Creates personnel folders for new and existing coaches and updates the H-F database.
Coordinates the volunteer coach process.
Assists with summer camp management.
Manages all office supplies and distributes daily mail.
Composes forms and letters.
Other duties as assigned.
