Soccer Coach

Under the direction of the Sports Director, the Sports Coach will assist in developing, organizing, and administering team practices and games for their designated sport. Instruct young boys and/or girls in the fundamentals of sports while promoting a positive attitude and good sportsmanship through coaching.

Requirements:

• Must be 16 or older.
• Experience coaching and working with kids preferred.
• Must be energetic, positive, enthusiastic and exemplify YMCA ideals
• Pass the State of Georgia criminal background check.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the health, safety and well-being of children in the program by providing close supervision of all activities.
• Maintain accurate program documentation.
• Assist with communication to participants and parents.
• Enforce all reporting measurements, policies and documentation as required.
• Attend necessary coaches and or parent meetings.
• Must perform duties in accordance with the policies, goals, mission, values and objectives established by the Metropolitan Atlanta YMCA, Branch Strategic Plan, Safety Protocols Including COVID, and Member Services Guidelines and Non-Negotiables. Emphasis will be placed on member service, program knowledge, member/staff safety, and communication with members and staff.
