Softball Coach

Frozen Ropes, a leading sports organization dedicated to promoting excellence in baseball and softball, is seeking a passionate and experienced part-time Softball Instructor / Coach. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our softball programs, fostering player development, and maintaining our commitment to excellence.

Duties:

• Develop and implement practice plans and training sessions for softball teams.
• Teach fundamental skills such as throwing, catching, hitting, and base running.
• Provide guidance and instruction on game strategies and tactics.
• Organize and supervise team practices, scrimmages, and games.
• Evaluate player performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Foster a positive and supportive team environment.
• Ensure the safety of players during practices and games.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other coaches.

Qualifications:

• Experience playing/coaching softball at a competitive level.
• Knowledge of the rules and techniques of softball.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work well with children and young adults.
• Patience and understanding in dealing with different skill levels.
