Softball Coach

The Strike Zone VT is home to the Fastpitch Fury Vermont travel softball organization! The Fury 14U team is seeking to fill the head coach role for the upcoming 2025 summer travel season. At Fastpitch Fury VT, our teams operate under four core values: discipline, resilience, teamwork, self-confidence. Fastpitch Fury VT provides young athletes a safe, positive, and supportive environment to hone athletic skills and abilities and evolve their mindset.

Coach Responsibilities:

• Foster a team culture based on Fastpitch Fury VT’s core values of discipline, resilience, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
• Manage team logistics, including scheduling practices and distributing game schedules.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and tournament officials as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching OR playing experience at the high school, collegiate, or club level.
• Strong knowledge of softball rules, techniques, and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to fostering a safe, positive, and inclusive team environment.
• Availability for weekend winter training practices January-March 2025.
• Availability to attend weekday practices, weekend tournaments, and team events June-August 2025.
