Rocker B is a family-oriented ranch and sports complex located in Texas. Rocker B Ranch specializes in youth baseball tournaments bringing teammates, coaches, and families together through our Big-League Experiences. We are committed to maintaining the values and experience gained from playing the game, while making sure there's a whole lot of fun along the way.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team in the All-Ripken Games, teaching kids ages 7-13 the fundamentals of baseball, the Ripken Way.
- Manage a team through the All-Ripken Games tournament by organizing a lineup and substitutions.
- Learn how to operate the best baseball evaluations/practices in the nation, from those who have created and implemented the standards and practices.
- Create a fun, dynamic atmosphere for participants, developing camaraderie and acting as a positive role model.
- Uphold the values and brand standards established by Ripken Baseball.
- Operate instructional stations and evaluations (including hitting, pitching, and fielding).
- Observe and evaluate player performance.
- Gain knowledge of and training in management, coaching, and working independently when assisting with event operations.
- Aid in setting up and breaking down baseball equipment at the start or end of each day as needed.
- Assist partner brand and agency representatives in setting up and breaking down event production equipment and promotional items.
Requirements:
- Past baseball or softball experience with a strong understanding of fundamentals; interest in coaching.
- Prior customer service experience.
- Prior coaching experience.
- Prior experience working with children, exhibiting the ability to be patient and understanding.
- An outgoing, friendly personality, initiative, and high level of energy.
- Ability and willingness to physically perform all job responsibilities.
