Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics, a Division 1 and Big Ten Conference Institution is seeking a Head Coach for Softball. The University seeks a dynamic and experienced leader with a strong commitment to NCAA Division I-A athletics, integrity, compliance, character, diversity, and the academic and athletic experience of the student-athlete.
Responsible for maintaining and strengthening a nationally competitive softball program by presenting a clear vision and strategy to compete for B1G and NCAA Championships. Candidate must engage in the personal, academic and athletic development of student-athletes and is responsible for the program’s strict compliance with University, Big Ten Conference, and NCAA regulations. Coaching experience at the collegiate level is required. Commitment to comply fully with the mission statements of the University and Department, including Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics vision to prepare students for a lifetime of impact. Proven organizational, evaluation, administrative, and communication skills; a demonstrated ability to work well under pressure; and knowledge of NCAA regulations are required.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
