Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Directs or consultative services to identify handicapped students.
- Problem solves to meet the student’s ever-changing needs.
- Liaison with school personnel, family, physician and agencies through written and/or oral communication.
- Equipment ordering and adaptation.
- Attend and participate in student team meetings, etc.
- Evaluation, assessment and screening of students.
- Planning to meet individual student’s and program needs.
- Establishes and maintains appropriate records, reports and procedures.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate from an approved school of Physical Therapy.
- License from the State to practice. P.T.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
