Sports Information Director

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Function as the sports information director for the LSUA department of athletics.
• Track official statistics and prepare media releases for each LSUA sport and disseminate to media outlets, opposing teams and the conference office.
• Document and publicize the accomplishments of LSUA teams and athletes.
• Serve as the liaison between the LSUA athletic department and the media
• Coordinate the development and implementation of a proactive media outreach including print, radio, TV and online media outlets.
• Oversee production of game-day programs and other game-day materials.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver license.
• A background check will be required of the successful applicant.
• Bachelor’s degree.
