Description
The position entails the execution of assigned duties, performance as a strength and conditioning specialist within a diversified team, and working in a military clinical setting supporting elite US military personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Customize, deliver, and support individualized programming for the achievement of optimal physical function.
- Evaluate, coach, and manage movement dysfunction, pre existing injuries and illnesses of clients.
- Collectively work within a care team on implementation of rehabilitation protocols, injury prevention programs, human performance evaluations, and therapeutic interventions.
- Educate clients on injury prevention and strategies, self-rehabilitation techniques, nutrition, and hydration importance necessary for recovery.
- Select, apply, and evaluate appropriate strength and conditioning strategies.
- Ensure the safe and effective operation of all equipment located in the performance facility.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, Health Science, or Physical Education Related Discipline.
- Holds Current NSCA CSCS.
- CPR with AED certification.
- Minimum of 5 years experience.
- English language fluency with strong verbal and written skills.
- Ability to communicate Company practices and collaborate within a care team including medical doctors, physical therapist, athletic trainer and a mental health professional.
- Ability to identify problems, suggest solutions and react to change with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Ability to establish working relationships with customers at all levels; technical staff, managers, and peers.
- Must act with high ethical values and uphold corporate philosophy and confidentiality.
