Description
As a Strength and Conditioning Coach, you will provide comprehensive sports performance programs to help athletes achieve their short and long-term sports performance goals. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting private and semi-private training sessions, team training sessions, sports performance programs, maintaining client records, and adhering to district policies and guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Conduct and develop sports performance programs for youth and adult athletes.
- Conduct private and semi-private personal training sessions, adhering to district policies and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate client records and communicate program progress/issues with the Recreation Coordinator.
- Attend required training and staff meetings.
- Be punctual and maintain a professional demeanor with clients.
- Contact new clients promptly and lead individual, semi-private and team training sessions
- Promote district-wide programs and events.
- Aid during emergency situations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 18 years old.
- Nationally recognized Personal Training certification.
- CSCS or comparable certification preferred.
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification required upon hire.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Proficient in strength and conditioning principles.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 45 pounds and competently spot clients.
