Description
This position is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of world-class strength and conditioning programs that are aligned with the individual performance goals of athletes and will help them attain optimal sports performance. This includes research and design of a program to deliver agreed objectives based on evidence-based practice, as well as the application, instruction, and evaluation of the program’s impact and culture.
Minimum Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in sports science or related area specializing in the area of physical preparation of elite athletes.
- Current National Strength and Conditioning Association certification (CSCS).
- Proven experience in strategic planning, implementation, and monitoring of strength and conditioning for high-performance athletes.
- Three years of relevant experience in strength and conditioning support to NCAA Division I athletes (or comparable level) and their coaches to improve performance.
