Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Strength and Conditioning Department is now accepting applications for (1) intern for the 2020-21 academic year. This is an excellent position that will allow you to gain practical knowledge by assisting with and implementing programs for designated sports teams under the guidance of the head strength coach. Embry-Riddle Athletics boasts 20 intercollegiate sports teams and approximately 450 athletes. We are members of NCAA Division II and the Sunshine State Conference.
Bachelor’s degree in exercise science or related field and must obtain or be pursuing a relevant certification from one of the following: NSCA, CSCS; CSCCa, SCCC; USAW and CPR/FIRST AID/ AED.
Individuals must be highly motivated, have a strong interest in pursuing a career in strength and conditioning, possess great communication skills, and have the ability to be punctual, pro-active and take initiative when needed.
