Description
Strength and Conditioning Coach assists the Fitness Center Director in the overall management of the fitness center, performs one on one and group exercise instruction, and serves as Strength and Conditioning Coach for intercollegiate student-athletes under the direction of the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBIITIES:
- Provide high quality customer service to all Fitness Center users.
- Oversee operations and supervise work-study students working the reception desk.
- Under the direction of the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, develop, implement, and monitor training programs for athletic teams, intercollegiate student-athletes.
- Assist Strength and Conditioning Coordinator in creating educational materials for student-athletes and coaches in the areas of athlete-specific training, injury prevention, nutrition, rest, recovery, and wellness.
- Ensure all student-athlete interaction complies with NCAA regulations.
