Oversee the strength and conditioning program for student athletes at NMHU by providing leadership and security in the Athletic Weight room.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of applicable team or individual sports playing rules;
Knowledge of NCAA practice, conditioning, and weight training regulations;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community;
Knowledge of NCAA and RMAC game environment rules and regulations;
Ability to foster a cooperative work environment;
Ability to read, understand, follow, and enforce safety procedures;
Organizing and coordinating skills;
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing;
Ability to coordinate with all coaching staffs, sports medicine, and administration timely and effective athletic schedules and game management procedures.
