Description
Responsibilities:
- Full-time strength and conditioning teacher in the physical education department. Possibility of other PE classes assigned as needed.
- Work with coaches to design and implement an in-season strength and conditioning program for athletes.
- Design, implement, and oversee an off-season strength and conditioning program for athletes during the school year.
- Design, implement and manage a summer strength and conditioning program; responsibilities include the recruitment and training of workers, design of the program, and management of the program financials.
Qualifications:
- A clear testimony of a personal saving relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Membership or faithful attendance at an approved Protestant church congregation.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Contagious enthusiasm that engages athletes and inspires them to participate in strength and conditioning.
- Strong desire to develop and implement a vision for athlete development across all sports.
- Fulfillment of MSHSAA coaching requirements.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to athletes, parents, and coaches.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for athletes.
- Strong and proven verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, flexibility, and attention to detail.
