Swim Coach

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for the proper skill instruction and motivation for a competitive racing team.
• Design and implement appropriate practice schedule for individual age groupings.
• Be punctual, prepared and organized each day.
• Attend all team meetings.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with fellow staff and the general public.
• Communicate regularly with participants and parents to ensure they are aware of meet schedule and any and all adjustments due to weather.
• Assist in the planning and execution of the Mile Swim.
• Act in a professional manner, maintain a fun, safe and controlled environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Education and Experience:

• Experience working, volunteering, or educating kids is highly recommended.
• Experience in competitive swimming environment.

Special Requirements:

• Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Ideal applicant should be minimum of 21 years old.
