Swim Coach

Responsible for assisting the Head Swim Coach with developing a competitive swim program while ensuring a safe and engaging environment during the Summer swim team season (May-August). This role helps shape young athletes both in and out of the pool.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct practices under Head Coach's direction, focusing on age-appropriate training and proper technique.
• Maintain active engagement with swimmers, providing continuous feedback and encouragement.
• Help prepare meet lineups and manage meet software systems.
• Assist with meet setup, operation, and cleanup.
• Participate in team social events and spirit activities.
• Support team communication efforts.
• Promote safety and proper equipment use.
• Help distribute awards and maintain team records.

Requirements:

• Minimum age of sixteen (16) years.
• Strong swimming background and technique knowledge.
• High-energy, enthusiastic personality.
• Demonstrated ability to work with children of all ages and abilities.
• Professional communication skills.
• High level of organizational ability.
