Description
What Qualifications You’ll Need:
- 18 years old with a High School Degree or equivalent.
- 2 years of directly related experience in developing and conducting programs.
- Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including nights and weekends.
- Ability to travel between multiple branches in the city of Philadelphia.
- Understanding of computer software used for running meets and swimmer lineups.
What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate swimmers’ skills and lead them through skill mastery and swim practices.
- Recruit, train, and supervise the competitive swim staff and conduct monthly staff
- meetings.
- Provide support and encouragement to participants and ensure fair practice and swim meet experience.
- Ensure you are the first one to arrive and the last one to leave at practices and meets. Swimmers are not to be left unsupervised during practice or at any swim meet.
- The coach is responsible for setting up home meets and working with the parents’ committee in securing volunteers to run the swim meets.
