Tennis Coach

Responsibilities:

• Work with Assistant Director to develop on court tennis instruction and physical activities for participants, which includes youth and adult lessons.
• Provide tennis lessons for small group, private or semi-private.
• Maintain tennis equipment; set-up and break down equipment for programming
• Support assistant director in recruiting tennis volunteers and work with them on the court.
• Support volunteer and staff trainings related to tennis.
• Lead all tennis activities and work with tennis volunteers.

Qualifications:

• Played tennis in high school; college experience preferred.
• Previous experience and desire to work with children; afterschool and summer programming.
• Certification through the United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) or Professional Tennis Registry (PTR)
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
