Track and Field Head Coach

James Madison University, a Division I Member of the NCAA and Sunbelt Conference, is seeking a Track and Field Head Coach. This position is a full-time, 12-month position with a full comprehensive benefits package. The anticipated start date is upon first availability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for coaching multi, throws, pole vault, assisting director with all phases of the specified sport program including but not limited to, administrative operations, sprints, relays, recruiting qualified student athletes, organization and design of practice and competition, arrangements, and any other duties necessary to have a successful program.
• Must support and work cooperatively with Sports Medicine /Athletic Training/Strength & Conditioning, Equipment Room, Student-Athlete.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Demonstrated previous professional experience with collegiate coaching.
• Must possess a strong knowledge of Compliance of NCAA, Conference, and University rules.
