York High School is a four year public school. It is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges and the Maine Department of Educational and Cultural Services. Built in 1977, York High School is set on 72 acres of land one-quarter mile from the Atlantic Ocean. The school currently has a population of approximately 569 students and is growing. York High School enjoys a reputation for excellence in both its academic and extra-curricular programs.
